There were two comments on the video that stuck. One was talking about how they felt the statement related to how society oversexualizes gay culture. Which is true. Partly because Pride usually ends up overly sexual. Partly because of that ‘whore-y gay’ stereo type.
The other I liked had to do with how the gay theme was a artistic choice to grab attention while showing the sexualization of the modern relationship. How sex is more ‘required’ in relationships now.
I dunno. I liked it. I think both were kinda right. I personally had this sort of dismal feeling that ended with hope sprouting through it. Sort of like… Things suck now - but they don’t have to suck forever.
